FS#211 - Fill blank space with pixels on quit rendering
It would be nice when quitting a render if the remaining space were filled with empty pixels. That way the partial render will still be viewable in all image apps.
What is "empty pixel" ?
Currently, the non-rendered part (in partial render with +SC/EC +SR/ER) are saved as full black.
If you think about aborting a render, no image is generated, IIRC.
The file-mapped-render in progress file (triggered by +MI setting) is always a complete image... with full black for unknown part.
So, could you please illustrate a bit more your expectation ?
