FS#160 - Parallel GPU processing support
...for instance nVidia’s CUDA architecture, discussed here and other places.
General consensus is that it’s not worth the effort if only a partial set of POV-Ray’s features are possible.

With current GPUs' limitations this
feature is still a no-go.
